Fall Ball in the Small Hall...

Yeah, I know it's been a few days since the weekend...

Had a great time up in Shadowlands.

Got to fight as the bye in the "tiny" tournament I ran. 16 fighters total. Lots of folks out of Ravensfort including Zork... Ahem Don Charles. Formated the tournament segment so all fighters got to fight 5 rounds best 2 out of 3. Each round the fighters had to select a different weapons style so they would exaust the standard 5 combinations. For me, I like this because I encourage having mixed weapons styles on the field and enjoy watching fights where it's cloak vs. dagger or buckler vs. case.

Victory went to the Shadowlands resident OGRE Connor who was undefeated in the tournament.

From there we drew our 3 melee commanders. Connor, Stephen Crowley - 1 loss, and Jonathan Smith - 1 loss.

Connor being undefeated from the tournament had to be defeated twice by the victor from Crowley and Smiths melee bout. In the end victory on the melee field was to Stephen Crowley.

From there we opened up for some general melee fighting. Rabbit drills and in the end we had a Valhalla Mele. Lots of fun to watch.

The Ball that evening was enjoyable. Got in some good dancing (dang I miss dancing)

Finally got a connection again after over 1 1/2 weeks of no service.

Now I just have to reconfigure all the email accts in this house so I can send and receive mail again.

And now I get to sit and wait as 1 1/2 weeks of email down load to my computer... *joy*

Beautiful morning for a ride...

2nd day in a row that was beautiful for riding the motorcycle.

A little chilly perhaps but that was ok. Just meant that I had to wear a few more layers, though I do need to consider making a flannel hood to wear instead of the neck sock I have currently. Didn't care for the chill sneaking in around the collar of my jacket.

The GSX definitely prefers to be ridden daily though. Was decidedly fussy yesterday morning in the cold, but today was much better behaved. I suppose since it has a full tank I should look in to dosing it with some B-12 as my brother did to try and keep the gunk from clogging the carburetor jets.

Finally a decent day to ride!

Got in to work a bit late for it, but I feel a lot better now. No ez-tag on the bike and for some reason you would swear that everyone had not seen the sun before and therefore did not know how to drive. Still it was a nice ride in and I got to take a nice line through the swervy spots on Blalock

Only bummer was riding up to the parking spot and realizing that a Road King was hogging both the spots. There are two kickstand pads there for a reason dude!

grrrr.
